Reduction linocutting differs from multi-block linocutting, in that only one lino block is used. Multi- colour images are  achieved  by removing the areas of your design in sequential order and overprinting with other colours. Our half-day Reduction Linocutting workshops are relaxed but busy, as you will learn about this dramatic Relief printmaking method and how to use it and our  equipment to create your own 2 colour linocut print to take home. Once you have done this workshop you qualify to join an improvers course.

Please note that although our inks are washable and we have aprons in the studio, we suggest that you don’t wear your best clothes when you visit us, as printmaking can be a bit messy,
